I'm planning on buying my first nice watch soon, and I wanted to get some advice from some people who know the ins and outs. I want to buy from an AD, but the internet prices are really tempting. My first choice is an Omega, but I'm also looking at Tags - I can't make up my mind. Reading many watch threads, I've seen a lot of mention about discounts from AD's on Omegas, and especially on Tags. Is this common? Would I be naive to pay full price, or do many people pay full price at AD's? Also, would anyone recommend going the internet route in order to get a better deal? Any thoughts are welcome and appreciated!

My wife never really got excited about a nice watch and made me take back a Rolex I bought for her once. We are on vacation and today is our 20th anniversary.
