Rado R12694153 wrist watches news:
Some just watches draw your attention: this is one of them. From Zenith (which, btw, has done enough right as of late) is the Christophe Colomb.
Hey Gang,I'm considering the purchase of a watch where the case and bracelet are made of Titanium. Titanium is super strong and deceptively light weight, but I'm concerned about the inevitable scratches it can pick up on the clasp and whatnot. I hear that it scratches more easily than SS. I have some experience with SS and polishing out scratches that I picked up from some great postings of John H. and others. However, I haven't found anyone commenting on how they care for scratches on Titanium. Anyone have comments on if buffing out scratches is possible and if so how to do it in terms of materials and techniques? Thanks in advance.
I've been looking at a lot of ROOs, and I noticed what seems like 2 types of bands / lugs. What I think is the old style has lugs on the outside (kind of standard setup), whereas what I believe is the new style has what look like inset hinged lugs, and a staggered band.So my questions:1. Am I right in the old / new assumptions?2. Are the old ones less desirable / resellable?3. Are there rubber straps available with the old lug setup?4. Any URLs of stores selling old-style straps? Thanks so much, guys!
Heads up, a few new 1940 additions on the list too...radiomir1940/en/home/I like the 512 (albeit 42mm), not so sure about the rest... 503... hmm...
So while walking around an AD I tried on a few pieces, planning to focus on a blue faced Milguass, only to focus on the white gold sub....And the wife responds with I love that one! It's my favorite! Fast forward to the drive home, where she states: I always liked that one, you should call (our AD). as I get home, I called, placed the deposit, going to pick up when I arrive in town in 2 weeks. Damn these things are addictive.
