IWC IW379505 wrist watches news:
As they often say,?"less is more" ¨C and?when it comes to watch brands, Ressence is one of the most interesting ones to?perfect that approach. Today, the brand has released?the Ressence Type 1 V Genesis, their roughest, rawest piece to date, designed?to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the founding of the company ¨C and their creation of timepieces that have done away with a traditional, three-dimensional dial and replaced it with one that is completely flat, with concentric circles (sub-dials) spinning around to indicate the time. The Ressence Type 1 V Genesis, however, is not less in the sense that it does less ¨C it is a five-piece limited re-issue of the original Ressence Type 1 and hence it features the 107-part, patented?Ressence Orbital Convex System that allows for its trademark way of indicating the time. Instead,?it?is (much) less when it comes to the number of refined details that we have grown used to seeing on other Ressence watches. Their other creations have a case, dial, an
Consensus seems to be there has been no need to for its market demographic and its accuracy is known to be fine unadjusted. My reference has an 864 mvnt. of 1992 250 qty. in gold case and band was one Speedy pro certified. Do not think Omega ever did the early 321 Speedy pro, but it was proven by its designer Lemania to meet the tougher Swiss rating standards of 1942+. Here is example to confirm. 7 positions adjusted. 2 were with both chronograph and watch mechanism running. I wonder if any Omega was ever adjusted for 7? Are marks on case edge on right side for adjustment totalling indicators? Is the stiff short wire over top of balance to limit its displacement during shocks?
While down in Tampa earlier this month, I stopped in at Old Northeast Jewelers to see what they had in the watch cases. As usual, quite a bit, but that's a topic for another thread. No, I didn't leave with a new watch, but I did leave with the new Diver II strap and new deployant buckle for my Seawolf... This deployant was introduced about a year, maybe a year and a half, ago to complement the diver strap & tang. I've wanted to see one in person for awhile, as it looked to be a great deployant in pictures. I was not disappointed. It's big, strong & heavy-duty - as any diver deployant should be. At a $410 MSRP you may think it's expensive, and it's certainly not cheap. But compared to other brands it's actually not bad. And if you consider the standard folding buckle for the leather straps is $450, the more complex, heavier duty diver deployant could be considered 'a deal'. Either way, I'm extremely happy with it, and finally a Breitling deployant that has a diver extens
For every day use. Just for fun. I like the plain look of the field auto, but like the 7750 aspect of the auto chrono. Like the sweeping second hand of the field auto, but like the complications of the chrono. (even though I don't really need them) Help! You guys are the experts. Which one?Auto chrono:Field auto:
I am very interested in getting this for my next watch.I was thinking of the speedmaster, but was on the fence. I saw this on ebay awhile ago and loved it.However, there are several omega AD's in my area, and none of them have this in stock. Of course they can order it.I won't buy a watch this expensive before trying it on. So I was wondering if anyone owns one, or has experince with it and can share that info with me.any advice on this watch would be helpful. Also, does anyone know about improvements to the speedmaster line that will be coming out this year? thanks! I lifted the pictures from.bernardwatch/Omega/Sp...#39;/OMG350631
