Philip Stein 21TRGFWIPL wrist watches news:
This year, Patek put the focus on higher end complications, not the least of which is the perpetual calendar. We have an entirely new reference in the 5327, which is very much the same in the grand scheme of things, thought very much different in the world of Patek Philippe. The watch replaces the 5140, though the 5140 will remain in production in a black tuxedo dial and a new grey dial, both in platinum for a limited time. The 5327's story is all about the case and dial, and in some way offers a lot of what modern Patek buyers might want ¨C a larger case and Breguet dial. 1 OF 3 The 5327 shares a similar case design to the Calatrava 5227. First, one must understand that the 5327 uses the very same movement that has existed with Patek perpetuals for 35+ years ¨C caliber 240Q. So that means, technically, you'll have roughly the same movement as you'll see in the 5140 and the 3940 before that. With that comes a great micro-rotor, self-winding caliber that is quite thin,
The oh so comfortable Constellation
Ow man, already his first birthday...Time goes by way too fast...I bought this watch the week that we found out that my wife was pregnant of our sonSo, that is of course the watch that I am wearing today..What are you all wearing this wonderful Thursday?
I set a new record: I went 60 days without buying a watch. I bought watch related things like a couple straps and a vintage JLC logo buckle; I received a watch that another member wasn't interested in (thanks!) and am going to have it restored; I even had that temporary swap with Adam for a day. This is a new record for me - the last hiatus was 45 days last year around the same time. So how do you celebrate? Well, duh.you buy a watch! Pics and details to come once the payment is sent but I'll give you some hints.- it's vintage (I know! What a shocker!)- it's a brand I already own but have been wanting to get deeper into - it's an automatic caliber that is highly respected
Hi.I hope that with all the knowledge on this forum somebody can help me with their experiences of owning and wearing an Orange leather strap on their Planet Ocean. At present mine, an Orange bezelled Chronogaph is on the Stainless steal bracelet. But I am getting very much into leather straps on my watches and wanted to buy the Orange leather on deployment as a change. My AD talked me out of it saying that he has had customers complaining that theirs are not wearing well, in fact the orange finish is coming off in places leaving white bleached leather beneath. I would like to find out if this is general fault with this colour strap before forking out ¡ê400 on one. Thanks Alan
