Omega 366.834 wrist watches news:
Well, I finally was able to order a grail today that I've had my eye on for a really loooong time. I was fortunate enough for my AD to be able to order one BRAND NEW from Omega (literally the last one they had left) even though the watch has been discontinued for two years. The picture of this one was found online and shows the America's Cup version. Mine will be the same but Non-AC. Anyway, anyone who has one want to tempt me with some pictures while I wait for it to arrive? Thanks all!
Just bought my first vintage Longines - see incoming and October arrivals and though I would drop by and say hi. My wife has a couple of Longines quartz models that I bought her - one a 9ct gold on a gold bracelet and the other a S/S Dolce Vita with diamonds. She has had the gold one since 1988 and the Dolce Vita since 2003/4. Both watches have always performed perfectly and she often chooses to wear on of them rather than her bi-metal Rolex. I love the current range of Longines and they do seem to represent fabulous value for money.
...what do you do?Say, for example, you suddenly got interested in Watch XX. You've never owned one nor have you even seen one in the metal. How do you go about educating yourself on this new brand?
There are still several models I really like, but I prefer PM bands; the Nautilus 5980 is at the top of the list. Any comments or experience with this model. I currently have the 5146 with YG band.
So, the next watch will probably be the last that I¡¯ll be able to sell to my wife. I¡¯m thinking classic Rolex tool watch, either Sub or GMT. I won¡¯t pretend that either are ¡°needed¡± or will be in anyway ¡°useful¡± as I don¡¯t dive and I am able to compute the time difference to Beijing in my head. But I love watches...the history, craftsmanship and ingenuity astound me...plus they look great. This is most of the current collection:What do you all think makes sense? What am I not considering? I¡¯m open to suggestions, max $9k.
