Basel Preview: Breguet Tradition Fusee Tourbillon With Silicon Balance Spring
In 1795, Breguet conceived the ¡°Breget overcoil¡± spring, today still the reference in terms of balance springs. In 2006, Breguet introduced its first wristwatches with silicon balance spring and escapement. Today, the new Breguet silicon balance spring is featured in the Breguet Tradition 7047 model with tourbillon and fusee-and-chain transmission. Inspired by the design of the first tourbillon-equipped pocket watches devised by Breguet, a platinum version is now available fitted with a movement fashioned in an anthracite-toned metal alloy. The fusee-and-chain transmission connected to the barrel ensures constant force for as long as the watch is running. A number of patents applications involve the large tourbillon resonator at one o¡¯clock on the watch face, one for a titanium balance and three relating to Breguet silicon balance springs. Box info on a Sub no-date
I stumbled across a great buy on a pre-owned sub no-date. It was from a non-watch fanatic, sometimes the best deals. When I made the deal the watch was great, just serviced not long ago at Rolex, was even in the Rolex Service box. Problem was the fellow didn't know where the original box was(I know, not keeping track of the box. Anyway!). It is a Y model wouldn't that be around O2? I think it should be in the old oyster looking box with all the graphics. Could anyone tell me what should be included in the box? I am going to try to put a box set together. Would it have an anchor? I don't think it should have the Superlative seal. What manual should it have? Where might one look for a box set?Anyone's help would be appreciated.

Will the new wider bracelet and case shape of the Deep-Sea make a difference to your decision to buy?I've never been able to even consider the Deep-Sea due to its relative size to my wrist and so it has never been on my radar.However, now with the new bracelet size, new case contour and not the least the new movement (Cal. 3235), it is something that I would now entertain the possibility of owning.What say you??????
