- Bought it for my kid sisters college graduation , and she loved it. The watch has a good weight and feel to it. However the craftmenship of the way the diamonds were embedded was not 100% satisfactory, but for the price you pay its a great buy.

Speedmaster accelerated patina
Hi All,I own a Speedmaster from 1974 but do not wear it often.I did not wear it for 4 months. I remember very well when I stored it in the box that the indexes had a nice light cream / beige patina. This morning I decided to wear the Speed and when I took it out of the box, the index color whas...green.Is there an explanation ( lack of light???) for this accelerated color change? All my boxes have silicagel humidity absorbers, even for a handwash I take off my watches, humidity or water cannot be the cause.The tritium is not dammaged, looks not wrotten, it only changed from cream to appel green.Who can me help understand, can tell me why, knows if an intense sun exposition might reverse the proces or if it will be green forever???Thanks for your expertise.
