IWC IW3725-03 wrist watches news:
Some shots that I took on our recent weekend away at a farm stay. The Monster came, saw, and conquered!! I especially like the first and last shots, very industrial!
Wanted to get some feedback from you guys, what made you originally want to purchase a Hamilton? There is something about the Khaki field chrono's, I can't seem to find a watch that I want more, and especially the older ones. It's almost like the vintage does just as much for me as a new X-Wind. I mean it would be cool if someone offered me a Navitimer for the same price as the field chrono, but that wouldn't mean that I would wear the Breitling more or I would enjoy it more. So what made you choose Hamilton? Thanks for any reply's.
Hello everyone,I'm just new here.Could you please advise which forum I should use to ask questions on the subject of Quartz movements in watches & clocks.I know repair options are quite limited, but I'd still like to get a better understanding so that I at least know "when to bin it".Thanks,Peter O
For most of us here in the USA, don't forget to set your timpieces foward one hour @ 2 AM Sunday, March 14th. This is one thing I will not miss doing. When do we get to stop this inane practice anyway?
Hello Good People,I'm seriously considering a Speedy Pro as my next watch, but I have some questions/concerns. Although I appreciate the fact that the watch is iconic etc., I'm not going to buy it soley because of its history. At the end of the day, it has to satisfy some practical needs. Admittedly, given the tenor of my inquiries, I'm not a WIS...yet!First, I wonder if I will miss not having a date feature. All of my other watches, including an Omega PO and an Omega day/date reduced, show me the date. As a result, I've become accustomed to having it. I also rely on the date feature for work...though I can obviously determine the date in other manners. I also recognize that I can get a Speedmaster w/ a date function but it won't be a Pro. Plus, I like the 42mm size of the Pro. Any thoughts?Second, is the manual wind a true pain in the or simply an inconvenience? Call me lazy, but I can barely function in the morning and the thought of having to remember to wind the watch gi
