Hi Guys! 1. I have managed to zero-in on a 105.012. Just wanted to hear your thoughts on the seller's pitch for the item: The bezel is the nicest bezel I have seen on a Speedmaster 321. It has the correct little dot above the 90. I have seen the bezel with the correct dot sell for over $1800 on eBay by itself. The watch comes with the original bracelet, although one of the endlinks was dented pretty bad (better that the endlink be dented rather than the watch)! I bought replacement aftermarket endlinks, which look perfect. The bracelet is the correct Omega 1039 bracelet with a 3/67 date (3rd quarter of 1967). The bracelets were made by Gay Freres and often sell for about $1,000 by themselves. The bracelet is in really good shape. The watch comes with the COA from Omega, which states that it was produced August 23rd, 1967 and delivered to the United States. I had the crystal replaced with an original Omega hesalite crystal. I can include the original Omega crystal if you would like, but
I have the opportunity to buy my friends submariner red text. The only issue is it has no original papers. It¡¯s well looked after and is stunning and wants a fair/ cheap price for it. I have the serial number, can I check the validity of it and should I buy it? I¡¯m worried with no paperwork about it being just an older rolex with a replacement dial?
