I was from trying to branch to watches like non-ronde form. I have owned a few rectangular watches, such as a Longines Dolce Vita and others here and there, but I really wanted to try a Tonneau-shaped watch, apart from the knock-offs people give you as a gift when they travel to China. So I began the first with a Franck Muller Casablanca, which I liked, but it was a little too clean and base is looking for me I think that, considering that have I used to occupied dials complicated the Breitling.
Hello all!I am new to this forum and I hope you can help me, because I¡¯m REALLY confused. I have a beautiful (18 kt gold with sapphire stem) ladies vintage Baume Mercier, but I honestly haven¡¯t worn it for years now. It's kinda like it's too small for my armOr my arm is too big. It is in great working condition so I¡¯m thinking I will sell it.BUT¡I am trying to figure out how much it is worth. And that¡¯s where the confusion starts. I have found a few pages with the same watch (model 38328), but those three pages have given me three VERY different ideas of what I can get for it. On one of the pages a similar watch, but with a gold strap, sold for $4200. Obviously because of the gold bracelet. On another page the watch (with a regular strap) sold for $500 and on the third page the watch (with a black leather strap) was for sale for $2950.So now I¡¯m wondering how much is realistic¡ Any of you have any ideas?I¡¯ve attached a few pics. The watch is marked 730843, 38328 on the back and does NOT
Went into a AD for Audemars today looking to get more information about one of their pieces. I have seen Panerais around but never thought to much about them. The salesperson explained to me about their history and story and I decided to look a little closer, saw a couple of rose gold pieces which were spectacular, perhaps after a little research and some time with the brand they may be on the list. I was in a bit of a hurry and found this little gem, ended up leaving the store in about 15 minutes with this in tote. I have never spent so little time researching a watch or agonizing over the purchase. I must say it was kinda fun.
Firstly Hi - this is my first post For the past few years I've mainly been into Omegas (mainly due to not being able to afford a Rolex). However recently I was lucky enough to purchase a Coke GMT which I love . However, I've always fancied a Sub and I've been offered one that has peaked my interest. Which I think is a no-brainer decsion..... but I just wanted to check that my man-math adds up!I've been offered a 14060m 2003 no B&P, includes a watchfinder receipt, it was also was serviced a year ago by Rolex and comes with the warranty card with a year left. I can purcase it for GBP 4k. I figure at the price I can't really loose and if I dont get on with it and I can sell it for roughly what I purchased it for - this would pass my man math and wife test! What are your thoughts? Thanks, Mersh
