Invicta 13660 wrist watches news:
The Phillips Geneva Watch Auction Two has just concluded and we’re here to bring you our analysis of the sale. The auction resulted in 95% of lots being sold and brought in a total of 27,844,575 CHF (which is about the same in U.S. Dollars) versus a pre-sale estimate of 13.7 million to 24.8 million CHF. Let’s take a look at some of the most interesting results of the sale. 1 OF 20 Phillips' Geneva Watch Auction Two Lot 112 – F.P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain, platinum, 1999: 269,000 CHFAs far as I know, this is the only “Souscription” Journe to ever come up at auction. As such there was no precedence for where this watch, the ninth watch made by F.P. Journe since launching Montres Journe, would sell. The result was quite strong, but not that surprising given just how important this watch is, and how hot Journe is right now. 2 OF 20 Lot 112 ¨C F.P. I was taking a picture of my Chronometer and I just figured I'd add a picture of my 37500
Spring Break 2010...Panama City Florida. I did swim in the surf with my PO but did not have the camera on that excursion. Anyway, I finally got some decent pics of my watch on its 9 month anniversary! Also, just before the trip my Dad had his 1965 Rado serviced. He bought it in '65 and wore it a few times, and then put it away. My interest in watches inspired him to get it out and have it serviced...it looks really sharp, and in the pic you can see the reflection of my omege bracelet in its bezel. I am well aware of the forum feeling on Rados, but this all original Diastar 1 is pretty sweet IMO, and its great that my Dad is now enjoying his watch again!
Anyone notice some models have a much higher lume than others? For instance the lume on my 233 blows my 422 awayOr maybe just the lume on my 422 is bad?
And still loving it. So timeless. Wanted it for a long time, found it on chance at an AD. Number 2 incoming next week!
