There seems to be no hope for me as I keep on "SINNing". This time I'm "SINNing" with a U2 T (fully tegimented) which arrived yesterday. It was love at first sight! Cheers, Bill P.
Hi all -- I am looking to purchase this 18-year old RO, 18K case with solid back. It comes with box/papers.I am complete newbie to AP, and would appreciate your inputs. I am not sure if the watch shows signs of over polishing (which I gather is a deal breaker for most people), or other issues I need to be aware of. Thanks in advance!
Hello, today i was shopping and stopped at an watch store and they are an AD for patek and other brands, anyways they had a preowned SS date nautilus and they referred to it as vintage...Sorry i didnt take any pics as i didnt feel comfortable doing that. I just need help figuring out what reference it could be. I didnt think to ask them and to be honest i dont know if they would know anyways. Here is my issue, i do not know if it is a 3800 or a 5800/1a. Here is why, it does not have a clear case back (so not a 5800/1a) but it did not have the old school folding clasp of the 3800. So what could it be?It had a solid caseback of a 3800 and the clasp was the hidden style/deployment of the 5800 1a. Pics attached... I should also point out it was not a 42mm, it was either 36 or 38mmThis place is an AD of patek so i am not worried it is a fake and they said it was sent to patek for a service.Any idea what reference it could be? I attached pictures of what i am talking about (generic pics from
Decided to get the BLNR. Dealer doesn¡¯t have it in stock, but a fellow customer was nice enough to show me his (and even let me try it on). Sealed the deal with a down payment and delivery is expected sometime during the first quarter of 2018. Up to now the only watch that I own is if I count my Fitbit and the fossil from high school girlfriend; this rolex will be my gift to myself for making my first million. For such reason I will be buying it new. Once I take delivery I do plan on having it engraved with something meaningful to commemorate the occasion. Dealer says he can do engravings in house. Is that a good idea? If the engravings I want is a bit more complex; should I explore alternatives?Growing up my family didn¡¯t have much so I won¡¯t be getting anything along the line of an heirloom, so I want this rolex to be something that I can give to my kids. Given that I am currently not married and no kids in the foreseeable future. Should I walk next door to Tiffanys to get
You have $9-13k to spend on either a NEW or PREOWNED Gold (white yellow or rose) Dress watch. Not exceeding those paremeters or opting for a cheap watch and a SS Rolex alternate - What would you buy and why?Any ideas welcome.
