not easy buying used.
I been trying to buy a watch last few days but seems like I am with in $75-$150of making a deal.Last night I did not bid on ebay KOBOLD range rover watch , the 20th year watch made for car maker, the watch seemed like well used and it was smaller watch of two watches that came with the car, BIN price was $900I missed out on 1984 ROLEX TT DJ mid size watch because he wanted higher price after we agreed on lower price.miss out on KOBOLD SEAL tonight because someone bought it for $1550.00their always next time , keep searching for next toy that I will hopefully enjoy.:cool:

Hello. I just acquired an early 2000s Seamaster 120 with caliber 1120 movement. The watch hasn't been serviced according to the previous owner. I will be getting this done sooner than later. Anyway, for Christmas, my wife gave me a Brookstone watch winder which I am now using. On about 1150 revs per day, my Rolex Sub stays perfectly wound and on time. Twice in the past week, I have come to find my Omega stopped on the winder. Both times I have hand wound between 40 and 50 turns. Within 10 or so turns, it starts up. I am afraid that the winder is not winding the watch. Everything I can find says it should be set for 600 to 800 TPD. At 1150 TPD, it is stopping. On a caliber 1120 movement, how many turns by hand is a full wind? I just assumed 40 to 50. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well last night on ¡°TheWatchBox¡± Brian said they never had a 5522. I personally couldn¡¯t help but notice the ¡°Watch Encyclopedia¡¯s¡± (Tim) expression after Brian said that. Tim is a great guy from what I can tell and his memory is down right perplexing at times but still thought I¡¯d share since this was kind of a huge deal which many here took opposing stances. My stance was that dealers have ways of making over retail on high demand pieces by a number of different ways. To be clear, that is just my opinion and I¡¯m not pointing fingers but do want to spread the word about any concerning details other members may want to know before deciding to make long term relationships with others.
