I am sure some members can remember my questions concerning the Rolex Datejust Turn-O-Graph. Last weekend my AD receive this watch and I was really looking forward to see and buy this watch. But ( I am so sad!) the tiemepiece wasn��t my taste. I miss the love at first sight and so my stomach say "DON��T BUY - SEARCH ANOTHER PROJECT".Now I falling in love with Rolex Explorer I Ref.:114270. Before I bought the Rolex AirKing I was looking for a Explorer. It is a classic sportive watch in my mind.Made for connoisseur and gentlemen. Also for active sportsmen. A watch for a suit, discotheque and riffle range. (Not made for a member of the colombian cocaine mafia with a white distinguished suit. I am sure they prefer Submariner Yellow Gold or Day Date Yellow Gold. :agree:)How do you think about this watch? Howdy folks! Long time no see! I thought I'd 'kicked the habit' and was enjoying a peaceful hiatus from the frenzied obsession of Hamilton watch collecting. Then I stopped by just to see what's new and, and......I saw HandyDan's listings in the Sales forum! Impulsive behaviors struck. And I bought the Langdon!! Aauugghh...!!!!!!!!!!! If Dan's gotten to the post office, I am soon to be the proud (albeit addicted) possessor of this:I really love the early round dial Hamiltons and this will be my second. The Vancott I got from Tom Diss is an absolute favorite that I wear all the time. The Vancott deserves a break from everyday wear so I "need" the Langdon! Most Bang for the Buck??
Though I have been a watch fan all my life, I'm a recent watch collector.I'd like some opinions on watch makers that offer the most bang for the buck in the Things that matter to me, in order of importance:1: 43mm+ I have a larger wrist, smaller than 43 in most watch styles looks silly on me2: Sapphire Crystal (or possibly one of the new hybrid scratch resistant) I hate scratches3: Automatic I don't mind quartz, but love the craft of automaticsAny opinions or even pics of ones you might recommend are appreciated.Thx,Craig

Ever regret buying an Omega?
I've owned 2 Omega watches and parted ways with both. The first automatic watch I ever purchaed was a Rolex Datejust (3135 movement) and its reliability and accuracy made it difficult for me to accept anything less. I've been entertaining purchasing another Omega since I like Omegas aesthetically and hope that the third time is a charm.
