IWC IWC 45194 wrist watches news:
Hey GuysSupposin' you could get the technical geniuses of Bienne to build you one special go anywhere, do anything watch. What features would it have?I'd like the following -1) Water-resistance Say 200 to 300M. 300M isn't strictly necessary since I only dunk my wrist into water as opposed to dive but 300M sounds better 2) ChronographI find a chronograph useful. In fact I use it most days of the week so stopwatch functions would be necessary3) AlarmI think this speaks for itself. I'd prefer a mechanical watch so it'll have to be a mechanical alarm4) DateAgain self-explanatory. I'd get tired of having to refer to my computer or cellphone5) Manual-WindingThis might seem anachronistic but I do like the daily routine which helps in the bonding process.I think that's about it. I could consider a GMT complication as well but this probably isn't a high priority if the movement was a derivative of the cal 8500 which would allow for an independently adjustable hour hand. You may take it as read t
I'm looking to make my first Omega purchase and I've fallen in love with the Speedmaster. Can anyone tell me the difference between the MODEL: 3507.51.00 and MODEL: 3210.51.00. Besides the orientation of the subdials and the price, they look like the same watch. The 3705 appears to be twice as expensive as the 3210 and I can't figure out why. Is one more collectible then the other? Also, How are these models different then the professional model?
I just looked up a Hamilton I am considering, and I found it in only one years catalog, ......does this mean they made it for only that particular year ? Inquiring minds want to know ....
I don't post much here (But check it almost daily), but today I am going going sailing on a 3 masted schooner along with a large group of friends. It's a party so it will be fully catered. I've never been sailing and would very much like to wear a vintage piece but not sure if it would be safe or not. I do not plan on going swimming, even though everyone will me meeting at the beach to begin with.I know there's some great experience here, so any feedback would be appreciated!
I cannot thank Danny Govberg and George Mayor enough for submitting my name for this 5976 1G Anniversary Patek Philippe and getting the job done quickly. Everytime I wear it I will remember the trip of a lifetime and those who I met.
