It has a 401, 15j movement the case is yellow gold filled, made by the Star Co. The watch dates from around 1935, the case back is curved to fit the wrist, but the movement is flat. The case measures 48mm x 22mm and has a crown guard. This watch also came with a 501 movement A plain model was also available.
This model was the watch of the day by Rusty a few days ago....Just goes to show how much of a rare commodity this is....especially one that is not engraved...take a look. I hope I have not done something in error....for the auction is over. If I am in error Rusty, strike it from the Forum and may a pox forever land upon your typing finger!cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=009
I recently called the Omega boutique in Chicago and I really did not get an answer from the sales person as to when Omega will announce their 2013 lineup. I am hoping for a 45mm PO black titanium but I am not going to hold my breath at the same time. Any insight would be super helpful. Thanks!
