Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 51612 wrist watches news:
Christie’s November 15 Geneva sale generated an impressive SFr. 21,572,700, or a little over $22 million. The sale included ¡°A Connoisseur¡¯s Vision Part III¡±, which together with Parts I and II, represents the most important private Patek Philippe collection ever offered at auction, and the most expensive collection ever sold. Among the wristwatches sold in Geneva, Patek Philippe took the top spots. The star of this sale was lot 114, an exceptionally rare 18K pink-gold Patek Philippe ref. 2523 two-crown worldtime wristwatch with 24 hour indication and blue enamel dial. Manufactured in 1953, this piece was originally retailed in Milan in 1957. This is the 35.5mm “large version” of the reference, and only 14 examples are known to have come to auction. The selling price was $2,727,651.The number two position in the sale went to lot 234, an 18K pink gold Patek Philippe ref. 2499 perpetual calendar chronograph with moon phases, manufactured in 1957. To celebrate what I believe will be a promotion today I'm looking for a watch. I found a Maurice Lacroix PT 6068 and immediately fell in love with it. It had everything. GMT, Guilloche, Leather/bracelet, Exhibition case back with a cool design around the sapphire crystal, ETA movement and the works. I bid higher than I've ever bid on a watch before and lost by $5.00 this morning. I'm upset but it has me on a quest to mark this occasion with my nicest watch to date. I wanted to show the watch first because I absolutely love it.Maybe this picture is better:SoWhat do you think? I love it. I need one like it but I can't justify the purchase at retail and they don't come up on ebay all that often. Is there anything like it from a classy brand like ML? I was willing to spend $500 on this watch but lost it. I'm looking for modern and dress since I have some divers and vintage. Swiss movement is necessary, and I love exhibition case backs + guilloche!
Hi all..Got a ROO Panda (which is unfortunately stuck in the service centre) recently, but it's arrival only made me lust for my next piece..Had originally set my sights on the new 40th anniversary RO Jumbo.. Unfortunately havent had a chance to experience it on the wrist, as I have been told by the boutique and ADs that stock will only arrive next year.. My lust for it has been based mainly on what guys like yourselves have been sayingNow I'm wondering what you guys feel, especially for those that have owned the piece as well as a 15300.. Do you think it's worth the significant price differential? Haven't had a change to try on a 15300 either as it has been discontinued, so can't really find out which piece sings to me more on the wrist..15202 will definitely take a much longer time in terms of saving up for it.. But definitely a nice preowned 15300 will not be easy to find as well, since it has been discontinued.I am aware of the differences eg power reserve, lack of second hand, the
I'm considering putting my Seamaster on a bund strap. I don't really know what size the space between the lugs are so I can buy a perfectly pitted strap. Does anyone know?
..... your life sucks. No details, but basically not a happy time. The 5711 is hard to get, but kinda feel like it would be associated to this difficult time. I'm leaning toward pass.
