Invicta 19194 wrist watches news:
OK, so with the impending rise in price for Omega watches, I have a sudden burning desire for a Speedmaster moon watch before it's Too Late! But the reality is that I'm "between jobs" right now, and while money isn't tight AT ALL, I should be a little more conservative. And anyway, sales tax here in CA is almost 10%, so I could just get one when I go to Philly for Thanksgiving and have it shipped here, for about the same price as it would cost me at a local AD today. Will rationality win out???
.....just a handful of pictures to share.......just the three of us met very quickly thisevening as Scott D was vacationing in Orlando and decided to drive to Tampa to meet Steph and I fora few beverages and a meal. I was lucky to score a couple of extra Stiletto Rolex mags for Scott & Stephbefore the meeting from one of the local ADs and 'deegee' was proudly posing with one of them. As you can see were were just being typical WISs - snapping pictures, talking & dreaming about more watches ;)(BTW, there is no hope - Scott is getting the "Patek fever"....BAD !! :D )
3 of my all time favourites in one package. Can't be bad. :icon_biggrin:Sprouting Subs! ? thirtyfivemill
Just ordered my 00724 from my AD in Melbourne - he'll let me know when it comes in... looking forward to adding this one to my collection. Had a good look at it while I was in Dubai a few days ago... love the blue on the seconds hand...cheers
Thought I'd share something that happened today. Went into my AD to see the watch maker for some business and another gentleman walks in and has a TT black sub circa 2002 with some damage. Scratched crystal and bezel with the lume pip missing. He is asking the watch maker if he can still get a new bezel and he's paranoid because he doesn't want to wet it thinking the lume pip hole in the bezel is going to let water into the watch case As the watch maker is getting the bracelet off to open a work ticket the man mentions to me that it was passed down to/left to him and obviously meant something to him. I thought it looked ok but the watch looked off to me. The crystal seemed to sit higher than the bezel than it should but then again I don't have massive experience with older ones but I did own an 16610LV for a while. He's worried a full service right now will cost too much but just wants a new bezel fair enough. After some chit chat I hear Can't do anything with this, it's a fake the wa
