Well, it's Christmas today, and if you are like most watch lovers any timepiece gifts you got this holiday season were probably purchased by you alone. Buying a watch as a gift for a watch lover is a pretty dangerous undertaking if they haven't given you specific instructions. Am I right? Go ahead and comment below if you are eager to brag about (or lament) your new holiday acquisitions.The last thing you need right now are more holiday greetings. In my opinion, these are particularly insincere when coming from people you don't personally know. The majority I got were from corporate mailing lists. Though, a few thoughtful CEOs did send me hand-written notes. That was pretty nice of them. You should certainly go out and buy their watches. I am not going to wish you a happy holiday season because that should be a given. It would be really strange if I harbored ill-will for our readers right? small update on Superocean fault
Hi all,anyone who read my rant in the General Forum (about the servicing of my Tag diver) may have picked up that my beloved SO is damaged - The crown is loose on its stem, as if over-tightened when screwing in the crown. My Tag is a very similar arrangement and I've never had a problem with the technique of screwing it in after winding or changing the time.Luckily a workmate was heading up to Auckland (where I bought it) and happily took it back to the AD (with the warranty booklet) for me.I'm happy to say they called me the same day he took it in, and said that they had confirmed the fault, and were sending it to Breitling Australia (the nearest service centre) for repair under warranty (at no charge).That to me is great customer service, and I hope the rest of the experience will be as good.Looking forward to its return, good as new, where it will be straight back on the wrist :)This in comparison to my TAG AD who has not contacted me once, either by phone or email in nearly 5 MONTH

14060 Bezel Questions
Hey guys, I recently joined the Rolex family after acquiring a 14060 a few months ago. In this brief period of owning the watch, I have broken the diving bezel clip spring. I've actually grown to like the ability to use my bezel in both directions, my question is will there be any issues not having that spring underneath the diving bezel from now on and secondly could I install a GMT clip spring instead.Cheers.
