- Buying jewelry for my wife is a challenge since she is extremely particular about things like color, style and whatever else women look for in their accessories. Needless to say I was a little nervous as she opened the gift on Christmas Eve but no worries . my wife loves the watch!

- Looks great, just like the ladies version I had 30 years ago. Men's is not too large for a woman. I just wish the band were of higher quality. One of the two loops (to hold the extra band) fell off within the first 2 weeks.

Girard Perregaux 49530-0-51-1121 wrist watches news:
F.P. Journe¡¯s affinity for aluminum and its incredible lightness of being continues with the new Octa Sport ¨C the second creation in Journe¡¯s Sport line. It follows last year¡¯s Centigraphe Sport, the first watch created entirely from aluminum (movement, case, dial and bracelet). The new Octa Sport weighs in at a mere 53 grams, and its automatic movement tips the scale at only 11 grams. The Octa Sport does not use standard aluminum which is soft and which oxidizes. Rather, it uses an aluminum alloy used in aeronautics. To create fine timepieces using aluminum required Journe to perfect different methods of processing to make the aluminum scratch resistant and give it anti-corrosive and anti-allergic properties. Journe even produced alloys in appropriate colors to produce desired contrasts.Like all Journe watches, the Octa Sport movement maintains high horology standards. Though fashioned from aluminum alloy, the automatic caliber FPJ 1300-3 offers an adjustable-intertia, free-sprung bal
Bloomberg is reporting that TAG Heuer ended its endorsement relationship with Tiger Woods when his contract expired last month. Woods’s agent Mark Steinberg confirmed in an e-mail to Bloomberg that the agreement has ended. TAG Heuer signed Woods in 2002. In November 2009, Woods was involved in a now infamous one-car accident. In the days following that accident, several women came forward claiming to have had affairs with Woods. On December 11, 2009, Woods announced he would take an indefinite leave from professional golf to focus on his marriage. On December 13, TAG Heuer issued a statement saying that its relationship with Woods was based on his golf game, not his social life.Woods has not won a tournament since 2009. On October 31, 2010, Woods lost his number one ranking to Lee Westwood. Woods’s golf winnings fell from $10.5 million in 2009 to $1.3 million in 2010. So far this year Woods has won $629,000.Woods finished 37th yesterday at the World Golf Championships Bridg
hey guys,i'm new to the forums. i've had my oris artelier small second big date for about 5 years now and it's still my favorite watch. i'm actually looking into getting the artelier complication, i love the whole artelier collection.my question is, does anyone know an online soure where i can buy a replacement leather strap for my watch? i've spent hours on the net and have found the f1 rubber strap and a couple of divers braclets. no cigar on the leather strap. i'm in contact with an oris dealer in orlando, which is roughly 150 miles from where i live in jacksonville, fl, who is supposed to be getting in touch with me today in regards to selling me a selection of straps. i was wondering if i can cut the middleman some how.can anyone help me out?
I just noticed yesterday that my PO is looking a little grubby. What's the best way of giving a bit of a clean? To make it spick and span.Any suggestions?
This watch has always been one of my grail's but the white gold makes it super expensive. I currently have a BLNR and a DJII, i've also been looking at picking up a Hulk if i can ever find one not at grey market prices. I don't know very much about the Daytona since it's from around 2006. I love the red accents on the face but i'm not sure I want to blow that much money. My question is, how do people think the value on the precious metals will be in the future. It looks like you can go used for $20-23k while new is $28-30k. Also, are there any things I need to be aware from this era of Daytona?
