Breguet 7027BB/11/9V6 wrist watches news:
Can you please post pictures of your Breitling deployant on strap, opened, closed, inside, outside, whatever you have?Their deployant is a bit different than what I'm used to and just want to see some examples of setup. Thanks!
Within the past ten days I acquired a JLC Master Control Date. It was made solely for their Asian market, circa 2011. It is 99% new. Came with all boxes, books, hang tag and filled warranty card. I stress the Asian market because the dial is 37 mm diameter. The face is unlike their watch for N.A. and Europe also circa 2011. It has three numerals on a white silver dial: 6, 9, 12. There is no 3, as that is the position for the date window. Unlike it's occidental counterpart, there are no markers (track) for individual minutes, only arrow shaped markers at 5 minute intervals. In essence the dial is clean and crisp. The hour and minute hands are highly polished dagger and the second hand is blue steel. It is an automatic movement, JLC in-house ca. 889. The strap showed no sign of wear, with a stainless steel deployant folding clasp. The case is very highly polished SS with a solid caseback containing the JLC gold medallion for 1000 hours of completed watch body/movement testing.
I'm bored of the "traditional" brands , I only want to add a couple of Omegas, a Rolex and a Panerai so far , but I'm really interested in growing the brand stable and looking for "unknown" or "strange" brandsSo, browsing the sponsors, I was looking at JS Watch from Iceland, and found these collection to be very interesting...I like all of them, but specially the chronograph oneJS Watch co. Reykjavik - IslandusAny experience with this brand? costs? etc?
Hi guys,I'm looking to find out what is considered Acceptable when bringing a watch in for Warranty. I recently purchased my 116710LN from Hong Kong and my fellow RSC Canadians here at Rolex Head Office Toronto have done a very good job with my watches. (As you can see with my macro shots of bracelet resizing and lug work) However, I still have another concern. My lug at 5:00 had excess metal (0.1-0.5mm) that can be seen under certain light. (Check out the inner lower right lug):https://imgur/KVRaf8DToday, I brought it to them to see what's up, and within 20 minutes, the polished the excess metal off. I was very surprised when I took out my OCD Glasses and took a look at it. The excess metal were taken off flawlessly. https://imgur/41D9QJMMy concern now is that upon further inspection, I see that the inside of the lug (where the Solid Endlinks Meet the Lug) has a micro chip, probably related to the excess metal at the 5:00 lug. It can really be seen when the solid endlinks are pushed do
I called Rolex Service NY on Tuesday to request a kit to send my watch in for service. After a 5 minute hold, I just provided my mailing address. Today I received the kit.The box came in a Tyvek envelope:Inside was a box containing mailing supplies....brown tape, USPS Registered mail sticker and form, a return label with Rolex address pre-printed, and an instruction pamphlet:Underneath all the mailing supplies is a thick foam layer to place the watch being returned:The mailing instructions contain a form to fill out to return with the watch:The foam has a round section that separates from the base. The watch goes around the foam and then sits well protected inside the foam layer:The box has gummed flaps that are used to seal the box up once closed....nice touch:My watch is now sealed up and ready for registered mail service. I would say this is a much better setup than anything I would have put together to send in a watch for service. The kit took 3 days to get to me, cost me nothing
