Seiko SNP069 wrist watches news:
I just purchased a seawolf (from an authorized dealer) last saturday, and i seem to have scratched the crystal. It's not a big scratch, i can't feel it, but if I turn the case at the right angle i can see what looks like a scratch. I'm in denial that it's a scratch. I called the store to see if there was a film on the crystal or something to that matter, but the lady i spoke to was little help. I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on this matter, or maybe I just got to come to terms with my scratch. Thanks for any input.
I see tons of chronograph watches posted here but quite frankly, I don't see the appeal. Perhaps because I don't understand what the dials and features are used for or perhaps because I don't know when or if I would ever have a use for those features. They also seem to be much more expensive to pay for features I may not understand or use.I'm hoping somebody will take the time to discuss chronos in the following categories. 1) Function. What do they do? What activities benefit from having these features in a watch? 2) Appeal. Why do I want one? What shall I do with one? 3) Value. Why is it worth paying more? Will it hold it's value? Is it worth collecting chronos even if you will never use the features that define it's purpose?

Had a chance to wear my new 5164 with my Calatrava cufflinks and I think they worked really well. The watch felt quite dressy on my wrist even on the rubber, as it is a small and exquisite piece.
I was talking with the Rolex rep at my local AD and he said the SS Coke GMT is coming this year at Basel...it will have a jubilee bracelet instead of the oyster.I know, I know...everyone discounts these types of predictions...so take it with a grain of salt. I will say this, however, I've NEVER posted a Basel prediction before and this was the first time the Rolex rep himself said the info to me (it wasn't just a salesperson at the AD spewing unknown info). So there you have it...we'll know in a few days.If true, though...count me in!
