Jaeger LeCoultre 706.84.21 wrist watches news:
"Watch What-If" is a special column on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer that asks the playful question "what if an iconic watch you know and love was offered in a different style?" The idea embraces a good timepiece's core design and has fun by offering new colors and material concepts to stimulate your senses. These ideas may be provocative, artistic, or just plain silly. This is about fun, Photoshop, and the celebration of wrist watch design and experimentation. The original design we work off will always be at the bottom of the article. The designs are brought to life by Beau Hudspeth who does the artwork and conception after he and I choose the models and styles to focus on. These special design experiments are extremely time consuming and labor intensive but we hope you enjoy the results. Ideas and comments are more than welcome. Enough response may even lead to a round two of design of the same watch - so please comment below. You are also encouraged to suggest watches that make it into
I was curious what other are seeing on their Breitling's with the Cal 13 movement in it in seconds per day. My watch gains 5 seconds a day if it is on my wrist or on my winder. This is within COSC specs. I was just curious what other are getting out of their watches.
Alright, not one of my finer moments. I dunno why I fell in love for this. Maybe it's because it looks like one of my grandfather's old pocket watches (We had to sell it years ago), or it's the great looking dial. For whatever reason, I love this little pocket watch, but there's a few issues.First, I don't know how to open it!Second, it doesn't seem to run, too bad.Picked this up at a yardsale for 10$, I wish i could have gotten it for less.Until I figure out how to open the back, all you'll be able to see is the face (which looks to be in nice shape IMO, no hairline cracks or fading)
Hello,As some of the watchonista might know me, especially on French forums, you won't be too much surprised by me posting pictures of my 2 PAM 389...;-)So, let me explain... In september 2012, the PAM 389 was unveiled. I really wanted one when I managed to see a prototype at the Geneva Boutique. So I made 1 order to Geneva Boutique, but not knowing if and when the watch could be available... You know, the usual stuff with pannies... About 1 mont later, I was a the GRFP4, the French GTG, in Lyon, and I went to Maier (Panerai AD), and made another reservation for the PAM 389.This way, I was sure I could get one ! In january 2013, the Geneva Boutique called to tell me they had received the PAM 389 for me. Already a customer, I bought the watch straight away.Later in June, Maier called and told me they had received the PAM 389... I was a bit confused, but I thought I should honour my reservation, furthermore I had made a deposit with them... So I bought my 2nd PAM 389. And now, I own 2
Hi all,Have had my new Milgauss for about three weeks now. I saw that it was about two minutes off from when I originally set it, then I reset it about a week ago. It kept perfect time. Until this morning. I noticed that somehow it was about an hour and a half off on the time? I have worn the watch every day since having it. On Sunday I wore it in the morning and then took it off, but I believe there is a 48 hour reserve.I reset it again today, but does anyone have an explanation as to why it would have lost an hour and a half in the span of a day? At what point would I take it in to an AD to be looked at? I would assume if I needed to do so it would be covered under the Rolex 5 year warranty.thanks in advance for the help!
