Breitling B71356LA/A710-lizard-blue-tang wrist watches news:
Hey guys I am new to the forum but not new to the watch world. I am looking for a fun sport watch essentially I can ware casually when I am down the shore, flyers games, with jeans, etc. I already own a ceramic gold and stainless two tone blue submariner and an older Tag heuer stainless steel. I am also getting a Daytona Rolex for my 30th next year, so this is strictly a fun watch. The things this watch must have is between 40-42 MM, rubber sport strap, 3 small dials (chronograph), and $2,500 MAX. So far the only thing I have found is an older chronograph Tag Heuer formula 1 with the red strap. I'd rather a breitling but I am open. If anyone has leads or suggestions I'd love to hear. I do like the superocean 1 but not the 2. But the superocean 1 does not come as a chronograph with 3 dials. Please give me idea's. I have no problem buying pre owned. Thanks so much.
Anyone have this model? I am sorta looking at them pretty interested in them.
Does anyone else have a problem wearing Patek's on leather ? I wish I could wear a leather strap but since I'm always perspiring, even sitting at times, I would probably go through one every other month. I can wear Patek's on rubber and steel bracelets with ease but wish leather was an option. Curious if others have this dilemma.
I have been reading a lot of articles lately comparing high end watches but none seem to answer a question I have. Most lists put PP, AP and others at the top with Rolex coming in a few rungs lower. (some lists a lot lower) I understand complications and rarity and market and all of that, but comparing simply fit and finish how does Rolex stack up against the top dogs? I am talking really about cases, dials bracelets and so forth , the stuff you can see without removing parts
Like many here, I'm on a waitlist at a small-mid sized AD for a white Daytona-C. I've been bugging the salesperson with whom I've worked and have gleaned that I'm number 4-5 on the waitlist. She told me that one Daytona had been delivered to the AD so far, and that she had no idea what her allocation would be. She has said repeatedly that she expects allocation to be very modest. The release has made me anxious to pick up my first Rolex. If i were to act now, I'd pick up a BLNR from a trusted dealer. I really love that watch as well, but it's hard to compete with the initial wow factor of the new Daytona releases. Still, if it will be a year till the Daytona would come, I'd be very tempted to get the BLNR. Would appreciate speculation in when i might expect to get the call for the Daytona C and what you would do in my shoes. Thanks.
