- This watch is very attractive. The reason I like it so much is because the face does not display the brand name on the dial. Instead it is displayed on the back case. More watch companies should do this.I would like to see this offered in a white croc embossed leather band with the goldtone.

Hey guys, my Oris has a crack in the plexi crystal. I want to get it fixed. It's really not a big crack and the watch still looks really good but I was wondering if anyone knew around how much it would take to get the plexi replaced? I can take a picture of it but the crack is really hard to capture in photos.
My Modalo (wind 2+2 and store 6) has arrived. My question:I have set it to wind for 2 minutes in one direction - then 6 minutes pause - then wind in opposite direction for 2 minutes - then 6 minutes pause.A 2 minute period wind gives about 13 turns. If I count right its about 100 turns per hour or 2400 turns per 24 hours.Does that sound reasonable? How many turns per 24 hours do you give your watches? Looking forward to your replies. To comment on some things discussed in my previous thread about magnetism I give this early on info:Its new - so its dead silent when lid is down and my ear is 10 centimeters away. Its new - so nothing falls off so far and my Sinn U1 is about 210 grams. Maybe its only because its new or maybe there has been some amount of product development - compared to early Modalos - the future will show and I will report eventual shortcomings. My question to the Modalo-seller about magnetism is yet to be answered. What did I expect - this isnt Orbita. Best Regards
Hey everyone. First I'd like to thank everyone for a great forum and wealth of info. I've been reading through for a few days now, looking to get the most out of a new watch purchase. I own a Seiko (7T326N60) that I've had 12 years and want to get something more classic.Through reading the forum I was able to search dozens of brands for my budget (I'm strongly leaning toward the Tissot. Quality-wise, are these both pretty good purchases for the money? Which would you pick? Are there any other suggestions for my budget
What are the values of this particular model? I know it's discontinued but what's the ballpark value one can sell this watch?
