This Just In : Re-Dialed Hamilton
WHen I left Michigan this spring, I left several watches with Jerry, my watch guy .........I had forgotten all about this little beauty.......It has had it's dial done by Internation Dial,.....and I think they, as usual, did a great job .......So, there it is ......the inside of the back case says "Austin"......is that the name of the watch ?......and it also says G622002.........and the movement is 980.....is that one of their really good movements?and I think it looks very clean ......I put a nice NOS vintage band on it, ( the keeper is one wide one rather than the 2 narrow ones of todays bands) ......and there's a little scratching on the back of the case, (it's 10k RGP) but no obvious brassing anywhere.......Jerry charged me 85 for the re-dial, I think that is probably just the cost to him .....and there was a further charge of 35 for other stuff, I forget what .......Now, the question I have for you guys is this ......do you think $250 is too much for this watch ?.......and/or wha

ULTRA-RARE Hamilton in upcoming auction!

Bracelet Options for SMP??

Help with possible first Patek - Need a push
So to make a long story short, I have been lusting after a 5711/1a blue dial for a while, and if they weren't so difficult to find sealed from an AD or even at retail from a trusted seller I would probably have one already but the difficulty finding one is really holding me up. Recently it dawned upon me that if I buy this watch, I won't be able to buy another substantial piece for at least 6 months without the wife cutting off parts of me that I would prefer to keep. So what do I do? Continue my almost religious flipping of watches that gives me oh so much satisfaction or just shell out the cash? WG DaytonaC wear smaller than subc?
Hello guysI am looking to buy the daytona c on oysterflex either WG or RG. Already own a 116610ln and have read but have read comments saying the daytona looks and wears smaller on the wrist? Is there any truth to this? As both are 40mm and i wouldnt really want anything smaller than my sub.Not too fussed about thickness more about overall lug to lug size and diameter...If anyone who has a daytona on oysterflex or leather strap and a subc could take some side by side pics or maybe both watches on 1 wrist would be most gratefulAny feedback welcomeCheers guys!
