IWC IW325401 wrist watches news:
With Omega having fully released their 15k gauss Seamaster AT, they are hinting that they intend to add the same anti-magnetic properties to all their watches. For the modern Omega fans, do you feel that you would wait to acquire your next Omega as an anti-magnetic?
I got my Benrus alarm watch yesterday. Everything worked and the alarm was glorious. So I set out to polish it up a bit todaynothing to drastic and when I pulled out the alarm stem to set it, it popped out and now I can't get it back in.In the picture below, it would be the top crown/stem. Kind of a bummer. Any secrets to resetting it?IMG_6656.jpgIMG_6652.jpg
Just picked up the 5980-1r but already thinking of other moves...(still need to move the skyD as part of the 5980-1r transaction as promised to the wife). Now thinking whether to swap the 44mm RG ROO and jumbo for a 5990-1a or 5960-1a. The only concern is 5990-1a may be too similar to 5980-1r but 5990-1a would allow me to wear to work as I usually do not wear gold to work. Seeking expert advice from all the great members of TRF.
A question: Why did you choose Omega? They are rather rare (I often go weeks w/o seeing one, and I live in a big city). Most people dont -appear- to know much about them, though the ads seem to be fairly common. Just curious why you chose one? I love that they are different. To me, wearing one is like driving a Morgan: Those who know, know. Those who don't, stare.Just curious.....
This is my latest acquisition. A PP 3541, an automatic Cal 27-460From my research, It was produced from 1960 to 1968. I have found many of these REF in a variety of dial configurations; However, I have never found one with a BLACK dial, nor with three baton marker. My question is did I just stumble across the ultra rare? Or I did just throw my $$$$ out the window?
