IWC IW3565-01 wrist watches news:
I am always torn about writing about Rolex watches - because frankly, they don't need the press. While I'd be happy wearing any number of Rolex watches (although I feel most of them are too small these days), there are a few interesting models that standout to me that don't get a lot of face time. In fact, many of my favorite Rolex watches are less than stellar sellers. These include two-tone models (Rolesor) and models like this Rolex Daytona with a meteorite dial.Personally, I love meteorite dials. I don't think that I collected rocks as a kid, but stuff from space did fascinate me. In this case, the "source" of the dial is actually more interesting to me than the look of it. Though I do admit, as far as stone dials go, acid washed meteorite is pretty nice. Plus, Rolex being Rolex, they are going to choose the nicest meteorite they can get their hands on. Rolex has a problem in this area though. There are so many "modified" Rolex watches out there, it is very hard to tell with rarer
At SIHH 2015, Greubel Forsey shocked us all by making a thin(ner), small(er), less expensive tourbillon called the Tourbillon 24 Seconds Vision. Now when you're talking about Greubel – arguably within top three finest watchmakers in the world – and potentially top one watchmaker in the world for median price per watch – everything is relative. By thin, I mean the 24 seconds is around 13.5 mm with a 16 mm bubble; by small, I mean it is 43.5 mm in diameter; and by inexpensive, I mean just over $300,000. But again, for a company that does not relent when it comes to quality, that was a great step towards a watch that was (more) wearable and affordable than previous offerings. The Tourbillon 24 Seconds Vision was received so positively that it took top prize at the 2015 Grand Prix of Horology. 1 OF 11 Signature 1 is Greubel Forsey's first watch with just hours, minutes, and seconds. At SIHH 2016, Greubel Forsey took things even further by introd
I have narrowed down my decision for a new watch to three models, two of which are in the Omega line. Is there any difference in the various series produced? For example, one watch is in the "Special Edition Michael Schumacher The Legend Series." Does this have any value at all in the quality of the watch or its collect-ability? How about questions on movements? Is there a source that not only tells what movement for what model, but also the pros and cons of each movement? Finally, all the brick-n-mortar AD are well over an hour away, and the online prices actually allow me to consider the Omega. I have viewed the sponsor list without a lot of success. Can you recommend online trusted dealers of the Omega brand? PM me if you think that more appropriate. Thanks!

I don't have anything against a nice metal bracelet, but the one that came with my PRC 200 just didn't look right to me.So I found a Hirsch leather band with curved ends in blue and blue stitching. I ordered directly from Hirsch's reseller, which is in Britain and amazingly I got it in four days from the nice guys at the Royal Mail.PrePostI think the dark blue band goes very nicely with the blue dial and makes the PRC look a bit more formal and definitely less pedestrian. I'm glad I went with the blue rather than the black. The strap itself is a bit stiff, but that is due to the thickness at the lugs, which, even though it tapers, is still rather thick at the end of the band.
