IWC IW371438 wrist watches news:
I have a 45mm PO and a 6.5 inch wrist. I kinda like it.Anyone else in the same boat? Just curious. Perhaps I am an anomaly.
i just got a 5396r and i was wondering if i have to manually wind it each day or is it auto?"Mechanical self-winding movement"'mehcanical usually means manual but self winding usually means auto so i am confused. also i want a watch box to put it in when i go to sleep by my night table. any reccomendations?
Did you ever place a bid on a watch, not expecting to win it, and then you did - but then you find yourself wondering why you were able to win that, since identical watches sold for a lot more? Then you wonder why you got it so cheap, and whether there's some horrible flaw that all the cognoscenti saw that you missed? That's where I am today. I just won an auction I didn't expect to, because my maximum bid was only a little over $75 for an example of a watch that sold for $130 last week (I know - I was 2nd highest bidder!), and has gone for as much as $300 in the last 6 months.I even checked Watchcount, and there were 25 people watching this auction. And I lowballed it and won. Now I won't be happy until I see with my own eyes that the watch is worth it.Ah, well. It could be worse. Instead of a Lord Elgin, it could be something like an Omega Pie Pan Constellation!
I know it not quite Friday yet but thought I bring this Wittnauer Longlife out for some wrist time.
Hello all,First, I am sure this question has been asked many times before. However, I am hoping it is ok for me to ask it anyway because the current supply demand situation seems to be kind of unique (correct me if I¡¯m wrong).I have been wanting a sub date for many years. I finally am in a position to buy, so I started looking around and Lo and behold I found that the sub happens to be the hottest thing at the moment with no deals to be found. This is my first and possibly only Rolex. I want to get it right and I don¡¯t want to get a bad deal just because I¡¯m excited. Used prices are so close right now to new, that I want to just get it new if I can. I like the idea of getting a new one if it¡¯s only a bit more expensive than a used one. I have talked to my AD and they can get me one in a couple weeks for around 8800 out the door (I¡¯m in California so I pay sales tax).Question for all you wise enthusiasts: Is it wise for me to buy? I have not followed Rolex trends so I am not sure if thi
