Oh yes indeedy!All excited, young Ruud and the long suffering, ever-patient Mrs Van D head into OP Singapore to go and finally collect my beloved, long lusted after 533. In we go, received a most royal welcome and then we're taken out to the back to the VIP room. This is what awaited, a table full of goodies and my 533.

Found this ad from presumably 1975 for the Submariner priced at $470. With a quick computation on the inflation calculator, the cost today would be $2250. Interestingly, the exchange rate of the Swiss Franc went from 3+:1 in the 70¡¯s to about 1:1 today. Perhaps this is the reason other Swiss watch brands followed the same trend?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
