- Easy to read face (without my reading glasses!) and a fun look. Would recommend as a nice way to add a sparkle at a reasonable price to a watch collection.

IWC IW500101 wrist watches news:
My SMP300 wound down over the weekend cause I didn't give it any wrist time so I wound it back up today. Question, shouldn't the second hand start moving only after a few winds and definitely by about 10?? I wound it quite a bit before the second hand starting moving. Also, what should you hear if you put your ear to the watch when winding? I know about the over-wind clicking protection that should start clicking when the spring is fully wound, but should there be a sort of "grinding"/rough sound prior to that? I'm not sure if what I was hearing was the actual over-wind clicking or something else that is normal. When I put my ear to the watch when setting the minute hand (crown pulled out to position 3) I do not hear anything (as I would expect). This is NOT what I hear when winding though, is this normal?
:) just felt like seeing some 2254's on a cold gray day, could we see yours?thanksdiver88
Mine: A 1945 solid gold case Concord at the bottom of this photo: For some reason my close ups are gone:
Hi, I'm considering to buy 15450 or 15400 next year so I visited Selfridges in London fro see which piece looks good on my wrist. After I tried both, 15450 looks better and balanced on my wrist so I told dealer that I like 15450 but he said 15450 is for ladies, and if I wear 15450, all of my friends who wear 15400 are going to laugh at me.Is it true? He makes me confuse to saving money for 15450.Anyone wearing 15450??
Just got my first grown up watch. Bought from Mosco - Thanks Greg! JD
