This is for all the 2254 fans out there. In all probability the 2254 will be replaced by a similar co axial variant in the near future.Besides the movement change, is there any one thing you'd like Omega to change? Anything which you think can improve upon what is already an iconic diver?

Hello all. I have what I think is a Calatrava. This was my Grandfathers watch which was a gift to him from my Grandmother in 1968. I was hoping that some of the folks here can tell me a little more about this watch. I want to have it restored because the crystal has a tendency to pop loose but not off. I'm not the type that will take the back off to look for serial numbers and the like, I just don't trust myself to do that to this watch. It runs like a champ. The picture of the back shows the reflection of the camera lens so that's why you see lettering. I'm not the best picture taker eitherOriginal receipt:The watch:

Recently, I purchased a Longines Flagship Automatic dial, it's a solid 18 Kt gold (I'm not favor in gold!!), I attach with this message two pictures shown front and back and hopefully someone will tell me the history of it as well as which movement was originally made for it, I believe it is dated back before 1970 and I'm not sure. Need helps, someone......

So, i could not resist it ! And i dont regret it at all ! But just yesterday i bought the mark II gold plated and today i found this beauty locally and i just had to have it.Im having remorse because, with the money spent on both the anakin and the mark 2 i could have bought the new marks 2 coaxial with racing dial.What do you think ?Picture attached God bless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
