IWC 5441 wrist watches news:
:):)I'm not sure where it is exactly, but I'm sure Mr Houston or Mr J. knows where we can find the article on the testing that was done before the Speedy was space qualified. the Speedy went through some very rigorous testing for sure..we'll see if we can find that, it's information well worth revisitingdiver88:):)
Just looking for opinions, I know they are on the low end but I did see some interesting looking watches last night on ShopNBC. I did see a white dial diver that looks nice, very inexpensive, comparable to an Invicta white dial diver. Both have japanese automatic movements, both around 45mm. Any thoughts on the brand?
Hi allI have fallen in love with the new AP Carbon ROO (pic is one on my wrist)ImageUploadedByTapatalk1338017851.778379.jpgI have a question on the durability and toughness of carbon in watches. I have read on a blog recently that carbon is not a good material for a watch case as it is prone to chipping.Does anyone own a carbon watch and able to give some real life advice.I do not baby my watches and love to wear them and do not want to buy something that I will be consistently worried about.Any real life opinions very welcome before I pull the trigger. Thanks! Allow me to to tell you my tale of woe and then I'd be grateful for any advice.Cast your mind back to 9th September last year. I'm on holiday and decide to treat myself to a new Speedmaster Pro from an AD in a city 300 miles from home. I have a very pleasant transaction with the salesman and receive a 12% discount. I'm happy.2 weeks later, I'm not quite so happy. The Speedmaster has a serious problem. After a full wind it dramatically gains time, 20 seconds in 5 minutes! I've also spotted a dent in the bezel. I refer back to a photo I took an hour after purchase which shows the ding, (at the 90 mark) but which took me 2 weeks to notice. I didn't dent my new watch. So with cosmetic and major mechanical faults, I agree with the AD to send it back to him. That was on the 29th September 2009.135 days later I've still not got it back on my wrist! The AD sent it to Omega and by mid-December it was back at his shop with the mechanical problem repaired. However Omega had refused to replace the
What if Rolex really have stopped 126600 production and what if March sees the new SD43 with an all white text dial?(Not that I believe either of those have/will happen, but play along with me) That would give us say 10 months production of the Single Red 50th Anniversary Sea Dweller. And probably all manufactured in 2017, the anniversary year. Would that make a Single Red SD43 the shortest variant production run in Rolex history?Or have there been shorter runs of a variant in the past?
