- Black strap, Gold details...other lovely details: angels, In Lovers We Trust. Numbers are easy to read. Too bad it doesn't tell the date, but I think the watch is good as it is. Wouldn't change a thing about it.

IWC IW390210 wrist watches news:
With all of the timepiece coverage flooding in from our trip to Geneva, Switzerland in January, I thought it might be a good idea to slow down for a moment and give you all some context pertaining to the whos, whats, whys, hows, and wheres of SIHH. Who puts on this show, why is it put on, how is it executed, and where are the attendees coming from? In short, what is SIHH?As a first-time attendee, I am going to give you my overall impressions and analysis of the event, while I attempt to explain the goings-on of this annual affair from an insider¡¯s perspective. There is much more to this showcase of luxury timepieces than just the watches, and while my opinions and experiences are mine alone, I hope they will shed some light on the inner workings of the luxury timepiece industry.SIHH stands for the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, and can briefly be summarized as an invite-only trade show put on by The Richemont Group in collaboration with a few independent luxury brands, whi
I like to try and pop in here at least once a day, to learn from the interesting threads, laugh at the entertaining ones and most importantly of all to admire the photos. I'm terrible at posting on forums, much more of a listener than a talker online (not at all true of me in real life though!!), but 13 days into 2009 I have decided to add a new years resolution to the list! Post more at WTF!! This forum has the best atmosphere of any I visit so I feel that time spent here is more productive than most of the time I 'waste' on the internet. There have been some great photos bouncing round here lately, what with the photo competition as well as the usual high standard, and its had me itching to take a photo or two that do my GMT justice.Last week I popped into Marks & Spencer's and spotted a little camera tripod for ¡ê3 in the sale. Perfect I thought, finally I may be able to take a steady pic of my watch! So today I got out the old (literally very old!) camera, a few sheets of white A
Just got my hands on my first AP and it's everything I expected and more! As a side note, it seems like the later production ROCs are coming with 1.6mm bracelet screws. All the research here on bracelet sizing pointed to 1.4mm screws for the non-Offshore ROs.In the end, this worked out better as my bergeon 1.4mm were not hollow ground and would have torn up the screw heads. The OEM Panerai 1.6mm screwdriver worked great - the hollow ground tip made it so much easier. There was enough contact with the screw head and enough torque, there wasn't any need to heat up the factory loctite.
So for anyone who saw my original thread about a month ago, the day of gifting the watch arrived.https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=589801I will say that based on some of the comments from the last thread I did start to wonder if I'd done something wrong, screwed up, etc. and did second guess myself. Turns out I should trust my gut. She absolutely loves it! (Then again who wouldn't love a surprise Rolex. ) The bluesy was a gift for myself based on a career milestone and to scratch an itch I was having after I bought my DJ41. Will add a pic of them together here in a second. signedTwo really happy rolex owners!
New winder and just sharing for fun...
