IWC IW544203 wrist watches news:
Looks like we did a good job painting the forum in Hamiltons official(?) color. Thanks John,Greg.Seems to be a perfect match!!
Hi guys,I'd appreciate your input on the quality of the alignment and spacing of the screws on the bezel of the watch in the picture below. I have some concerns, but don't know if I'm imagining things or my standards are too high (!). I'm sorry the photo isn't bigger or better quality but it's all I have right now. You'll probably have to zoom in to see the screws properly. Thanks in advance for any feedback.15400ST_1 Blue.JPG
My visit to the Omega boutique got in trouble.image.jpg
Ever since I acquired my 36mm Railmaster, I've been thinking about obtaining another Omega. After much consideration and research, I decided so seek out a Seamaster 300M GMT (2234.50) with the 1128 movement. I got a great deal on a brand new one from an out-of-state AD (save sales tax ) and it will be next Wednesday. The AD told me that the 2234.50 and others are being discontinued. Is that correct? Is Omega going to settle on the blue dial Bond GMT (which I don't care for)? Or, are they going to come out with a GMT built around the 8500 movement . . . that should be pricey. Hey, how about a few wrist shots of the Seamaster 300M GMT (black dial) in action.
hi guysAs we're getting more 5167 owners among us I thought it would be useful with a few snaps showing how easy it is to resize the strap - no need to get an AD to do this for youhere's what you need5167 - no need to remove the strap from the headScissors - must be very sharp to get an even cut between the slotsSpringbar toolpicture of the toolssteps1. remove buckle from the strap ends2. cut one slot from each side3. fit buckle back on - this I found important as it gives a good indication of how many slots need to be cut off. if you're sure about the fit you can of course cut off more than one but better to play it safe*4. repeat step two and three until you get a fit where you can stick a couple of fingers between the buckle and your wrist*. BUT bear in mind to leave slots on the 12 o'clock side so you balance the watch*DO NOT cut too many slots as you need to cater for fat wrists in the summer. cutting too many slots and you're likely to have to fork out $250 on a new strap if you
