Seeking general advice about buying online
Hi Everyone, I��m awfully out of my element, so please forgive me if this is not the correct forum for asking this kind of question. In short, I��d like to buy a Longines watch for my wife. We work together out of a home office, so there is no chance of slipping out to a retail store; it has to be the Internet (and it has to be within the next couple weeks). However, the only retailer with an online presence I saw on Longines�� site is Macy��s, and their selection is absurd (just two). I see a slew of watches on E-bay, but after reading about missing serial numbers, fakes, and the utter lack of warranty, I��m a bit skittish of going that route. Are there any authorized Longines dealers with an online presence? Are there any online sites worth visiting, or should I put this off? Any advice for purchasing? (Oh, if it makes a difference, we just had our first child so budget is limited to around a grand or so +/- a few hundred.) Thanks, Rhythm
