Audemars Piguet 77321ST wrist watches news:
For 2015, Geneva-based avant-garde modern mechanical watch maker Urwerk presents their first ever watch for women in the Urwerk UR-106 Lotus. The Urwerk UR-106 Lotus will come in two limited edition models and follows an extensive "women in watches" marketing campaign by the brand. Let's just say that after talking about all the important female influence in and around the brand, the debut of Urwerk's first dedicated product for ladies was not a surprise. In some ways, the Urwerk UR-106 Lotus is a cliche, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. How is it a cliche? Well, on a very basic level, it follows a trend of watch makers, even in the niche part of the luxury watch industry, to now produce timepieces for both men and women. Some of these brands are those that some fans might feel have "no business making women's watches." That isn't exactly my feeling, as I think if a brand truly feels inspired to produce a watch for women, they certainly should. The issue, of course, becomes when
I got this in trade today! My first Omega, It came with both boxes and paperwork and a cloth. I have a few questions.Would anyone know what year it might be? Hi Everyone, I¡¯m awfully out of my element, so please forgive me if this is not the correct forum for asking this kind of question. In short, I¡¯d like to buy a Longines watch for my wife. We work together out of a home office, so there is no chance of slipping out to a retail store; it has to be the Internet (and it has to be within the next couple weeks). However, the only retailer with an online presence I saw on Longines¡¯ site is Macy¡¯s, and their selection is absurd (just two). I see a slew of watches on E-bay, but after reading about missing serial numbers, fakes, and the utter lack of warranty, I¡¯m a bit skittish of going that route. Are there any authorized Longines dealers with an online presence? Are there any online sites worth visiting, or should I put this off? Any advice for purchasing? (Oh, if it makes a difference, we just had our first child so budget is limited to around a grand or so +/- a few hundred.) Thanks, Rhythm
What's going on with the "pre-owned" market?Looking through the "For Sale" section here, the first page has 30 "for sale" listings, but only four of them are for watches. The rest are for straps or bracelets. It's pretty easy to see that few are trying to move watches. Is it the economy? Boredom? Finally reaching horological satisfaction?Just musing out loud...
