IWC 3255-01 wrist watches news:
Now this is not going to be an easy one to answer. But I would really respect any constructive criticism between the following to makes.I have been a life long - or so it seems, of Rolex watches. But recently I have had the urge to look at complications watches, which Rolex at the current time, don't make.I have seen the EBEL Perpetual Calendar, but I believe it to be far to expensive for what it is.So I have looked at IWC watches and really like the Da Vinci - Kurt Klauss Perpetual/Chrongraph and the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar watches. My questions,if its a fair one.Is how do you rate the two different makes for such things as: QualityValue for moneyConstructionAnd anything else that you may like to say. Many thanks, for your help.PS I'm not looking for any destructive remarks of either makes, just genuine comments.
Hello to all,This is my first post. I have always loved watches and have owned some pretty neat pieces over the yearswished I had kept the patek 3919 and original ventura, but alas kids do need to go to college. I am now down to a single utilitarian rolex explorerindestructable but I would really like a dress watch and love the Hamilton Bradford. There is a new-old stock one on e-bay (one sold for a best offer of $900)-untouched, never wound, box, band buckle all there! <<On line retailer>> sells one with original crown and glass crystal (serviced) for $650. Can you help? How much is a fair price for the new-old stock, and how much for a used (without engraving) restored one (14Kt)-thanks for your help-Brian Keroack
Hi alljust sealed a deal to to buy a nice 6105 8110 on 3 equal installments. So I've got about till August to search for the perfect watch and strap combo - watch was available with an MM300 strap which I've opted not to get in favour of an additional discount.I'd like to steer away from the original waffle or waffle replacement look and generally wish to have the watch on a non-rubber/non-silicon option. The 19mm lugs is proving a bit difficult and am searching for some ideas for what would suit the watch best. Please share ideas on any cool options that are out there, by the way i will be needing a strap in long length best regards Zach in Malaysia
No worries. The watch is awesome.Just thinking if anyone here tried mounting the Safari on anything other than the brown hornback it comes with?Coming from a hot and humid country, I sure wish there's something nice I can change it to.I know many will say that the brown hornback + safari combo is the best. But just wondering what it will look like with other options. Thanks in advance.
