Porsche Design 1919 Datetimer Series 1 & 1919 Globetimer Series 1 Watches
Porsche Design is releasing their new 1919 collection, which will introduce the Porsche Design 1919 Datetimer Series 1 and the Porsche Design 1919 Globetimer Series 1 watches. The 1919 collection is Porsche Design's homage to the Bauhaus movement. For those not familiar, the Bauhaus movement placed great importance on the concepts of simplicity and functionality in design. Though it's a little early for the centenary celebration of the movement (that will be in 2019, if you couldn't guess by the name of the collection), Porsche Design has unveiled the two watches in this collection. What's interesting, though, is the fact that this is the kind statement that Porsche Design is choosing to make after their relationship with Eterna came to an end about a year and a half ago. Since then, they released the Timepiece No. 1, the name of which made clear that Porsche Design was?ushering in a new beginning for the brand. Sea-Dweller dial size
I've recently read a couple of threads comparing the Sea-Dweller with the Submariners and was suprised to find that the dial on the Sea-Dweller either is smaller or appears smaller than the dial on the Submariner. Is this true, is this a measured difference?? I assume the outside case diameters are similar, I know the height of the case is higher with the SD so why the smaller dial, if that is the case? Thanks.

New to Me Vintage Omega
I found this while shopping around a little today in Tulsa OK between appointments. Has ingraving on the back for a 25 year service award from 1981. I am noticing that a lot of these watches are engraved on the back for a 25-30 year service award. This on has the original box and everything seem below. I did notice that the de ville on the dial is in script font versus block lettering. Can someone help shed a little bit of light on this piece and possibly a value of it? The bracelet is an original Omega leather strap with the gold Omega buckle. Also the Crystal is original as it has the Omega symbol in the center of the plexi.

Oysterflex bracelet question
If I were to buy a TT Datejust 41 with an oyster bracelet; how difficult would it be to get the oysterflex bracelet and switch them out depending on the situation?I like the look of the TT Daytona with the oysterflex, but would like to see that same look in a Datejust 41. Am I crazy?Thoughts?
