homage or not to homage
i am not a collector..i am an enthusiast..keeping something in the safe like a hamster hoarding food pellets is not my idea of enthusiasm..i don't hoard my cigars i smoke them...i don't hoard the 30 year old highland park or johnnie walker blue..i drink them...if casio makes a watch that looks exactly like a doxa or rolex...works exactly like a doxa or rolex...and literally costs thousands of dollars less..more power to them...if they put the name doxa or rolex on the face then put them in jail for crimes of counterfeit....if they put the name casio abyss diver on the face i hope to god they sell a million of them...this homage vs. knock off vs. counterfeit argument is crap...i like to shoot guns...i would love to have a colt 1851 navy...but it would cost me a years salary to buy one and i would be afraid to shoot it because it might break so whats the point of owning one...after all i am not a collector...but i can buy a cva 1851 navy for 150.00 dollars and shoot the hell out of every

Jumbo in Las Vegas
Stopped by the new AP boutique in Las Vegas. I got to see the Jumbo for the first time. I can definitely see why it's so popular. I tried on both the RG and SS and actually preferred the SS. According to the salesman the SS Jumbo is only available in the boutiques. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I can definitely see this one in my future.

Stainless Steel AP & PP Combo?
Have a 15400 (black dial) that I like a lot and JLC deep sea chrono (42mm) that doesnt sing to me. Thinking about swapping the JLC (and cash) for a 5167, but then will have two black dialed watches. Alternative is more cash to get a 5711 or add the 15400 (and more cash) to the trade and get a 15202 plus 5167. Appreciate advice.

Boutique to open in Roseville Galleria
Stopped by to check out a vacancy in the Westfield Roseville, CA Galleria food court this weekend and noticed a giant orange PO poster that said Omega Boutique coming soon. I know there's at least 2-3 Rolex ADs alone inside that massive maze of a mall so it will be interesting.
