Audemars Piguet 26062PT.OO.A002CA.01 wrist watches news:
Baume & Mercier traces its founding all the way back to 1830 in Geneva, but it has never created a limited-edition watch for the U.S. market until now. The Capeland 10088, limited to 250 pieces and sold exclusively at select Tourneau stores nationwide, will be the first, making its debut this fall. The Capeland 10088 is distinct from other watches in Baume & Mercier’s popular Capeland collection due to its copper-colored dial. It is an automatic flyback chronograph in a 44-mm-diameter case made of polished and satin-finished stainless steel. The dial, which is a covered by an anti-glare sapphire crystal, has a tachymeter scale in blue and a telemeter scale in black. The exhibition caseback, which shows off the La Joux-Perret movement, is also made of sapphire. The watch comes on a black alligator leather strap with a pin buckle.¡°The Capeland collection has quickly become a best-selling collection for Baume & Mercier,” stated Rudy Chavez, president of Baume &
I have taken many of them over years of almost every watch I have owned, but this one has to be one of my favorites....:)One day, my dad was wearing my watch and while he was just laughing & talking to my mom, I yelled at him to turn and snapped the picture.I thought it was funny, because it looks like he was posing...while in reality he was not.Looking at this picture puts me in a good mood every time - for more than one reason."Thanks for everything, pops !!"
Ever since I saw "Blood Diamond" with Leonardo DiCaprio, I fell in love with the watch his character wears throughout the movie. After some digging around, I found out that it's a Breitling Aeromarine Chrono Avenger M1 with leather band. This was a few years back, and since then I've saved up enough money to commit. To get up to date on the new Breitlings, I did more research, and found out that there's now the Breitling Aeromarine Skyland Chrono Avenger. Being new to the world of Breitling, I can't really tell the two apart, except a couple of obvious differences (Skyland's numbers have a more military look, and it has stainless steel case instead of M1's titanium case). I would love to hear your thoughts on whether a titanium case is better, or if that's just an older watch/method of production. Also, are there other differences between the M1 and the Skyland that would make me want to choose one over the other? Thanks in advance for helping out a newbie!

Hi all, I've been a Panerai admirer from afar for years now. I have always loved the look but thought they wore too big on the wrist. This was back when my only watch was a 36mm Datejust. I have since been wearing a 6 digit Sub and it's expanded my tolerance for bigger pieces. I tried on a 47mm Luminor this weekend and while it was big I was shocked that it wasn't too much. A 45mm Radiomir/1940 case was perfectly wearable. So I'm quite excited that it might finally be time to add a Panerai to my small collection. With there being so many models I thought I would enlist some help narrowing down the choices. Here are my requirements:- 45mm max- Luminor/Radiomir/1940s cases are fine- Easy strap change is a big plus (is the push button system all it's cracked up to be, see some horror stories)- In house movement preferred, manual wind/automatic is ok- Something considered a shining example of the brand/classic DNA is preferred- Would like to stay under 8k for a minty pre-owned exampleThanks
