Inherited Longines need help with
Hello allI inherited the longines time piece from my late grandfather what i know about it is that it was gifted to him by his fater in law around 1940 and that it is manual wind mecha ism the mechnism has the serial number of 5999018 which places it around 1939 which makes thestory match..but thats it i would appreciate any additional info bout the watch also if anybody can recomend a renovation website as it has seen better times .Thanks in advanceOzzie84egy

Adam is in my neck of the woods for a few days so we met for lunch and to talk watches. I brought a dozen in one of Doug's cases, and Adam had about a half dozen including this incredible dome dial Constellation caliber 354:It's got to be the nicest shape example I've seen in person with a still-perfect CONSTELLATION and WATERPROOF on the caseback. I don't think this has ever been polished:He snapped a few more pictures than I did, so I'll let him post more details including a few about two of his cool Rolex Thunderbirds. And swapportunity knocks when WIS (or WEs or HOGs - right Enzo?) meet. Long story short: Adam has a 1960 18 ct Seamaster caliber 591 and I have a mid-sixties 18 ct IWC caliber 89 now. We were just trying on each other's watches and mine fit him better than it did me, and vice versa. Neither of us wore these respective watches that much anymore and the values were equal, so now there's two happy guys with new vintage pieces. Here's a q & d of the IWC - I

Legit check: AP rubber strap
Hi I am looking to buy some yellow rubber straps for the summer and got an offer of really good price. The strap looks genuine to me from the pics however when I looked at the wordings embossed at the back, there seems something strange -for one example there is no ¡°Swiss Made¡± on the strap. Pls may I have your help.Many thanks

Had the day off today and went window shopping with the missus - just wandering aimlessly and ended up at the AP boutique.Been thinking for a long while about a new addition and the Royal Oak kept popping up as a potential contender after seeing all the amazing pics and posts recently.I really wanted to see the blue and black dial but alas they didn't have any in stock, so I tried on the white (15400st.oo.1220st.02). Given that I have a puny 6.5 inch wrist, I was concerned about the size of the watch, the fit and how it looked. The missus took these pics and I didn't check it before leaving so they may not be the best shots.Your opinions please.
