Invicta 20023 wrist watches news:
Warning: Serious name-dropping ahead. Don't judge.Baselworld is one of those places where stuff just happens. I was passing by the TAG Heuer booth when I was summoned into the back by Mr. Jean-Claude Biver, for an impromptu chat about TAG's recently-announced partnership with Google and Intel to make a smartwatch. We didn't have the chance to get too in-depth before Mr. F.P. Journe popped his head into the room to say hello, accompanied by mega-collector Claude Sfeir. Oh, and then half of the band KISS showed up and our conversation quickly derailed. Essentially it was like every great HODINKEE video* merging into one whacky 30-minute pow-wow. So while our chat was brief, it was somewhat illuminating, particularly regarding this master marketer's strategy with TAG's looming Google/Intel collab. And yes, that was me completely name-dropping in a not-so-shameless way. I hope you'll allow it just this once because it was one of those moments where I looked around t
Hamilton went commercial with the first electric watch yes...However, Elgin and Lip (France), working together, presented one in 1952 that never went public. Lip started research in 1928, Elgin started in 1946. Hamilton heard about the presentation and immediately began their research....A lengthy but interesting read....scroll down to The electric movements to read about just the electric part of it.people.timezone/msandler/...esLip/Lip.html
hi I got my wife a lovely Starliner for our anniversary and she loves it but it has been snagging on all of her shirt and jacket cuffs. The raised pointed bezel markers are the culprit and they are screwed in. Can they be removed and if so does anyone else here leave them off?? Thanks!

I have a ROO Panda and Diver and thanks to the pics I've seen here am about to purchase the AP stainless steel bracelet for the diver. I have a line on a pre-owned one but its missing some links. So.....HOW MANY LINKS COME IN A NEW FACTORY OEM ROO BRACELET ? I'm just counting the links on both sides not the AP branded clasp. Can someone who has the bracelet tell me how many links it came with ? I'm concerned because although the deal is a decent one (bracelet does have to be polished) if its missing too many links and I have to source them, the cost of additional links may not make the deal worthwhile. TIA
