Invicta 14843 wrist watches news:
If you're a regular reader of Worn&Wound, then you're surely aware of our penchant for well-engineered tool watches. Pilot's watches and those inspired by aviation are some of our favorite within that category, and with brands like Sinn, Damasko, and Bremont leading the pack there is certainly a lot to like. But within the world of micro-brands, these types of watches are few and far in-between, with dive watches being the ones generally getting the tool-watch treatment. The Air Controller from TWCO takes a step toward balancing the playing field. But before we get to the watch, let's talk a bit about the brand. TWCO, or Technical Watch Company, is a company currently based out of the Netherlands. It was originally a Spanish brand specializing in dive watches, but by 2011 it had more or less become defunct. As luck would have it, that same year enthusiast Robert Suurland discovered the dormant brand and at just 19 years old he acquired the rights to the company. Today, he is both th
I can't wait to receive this one! As I probably have mentioned, I am drawn to the asymmetric cases on these electrics, and this one appears to be a beauty. The crystal may not be original, but is faceted as the original was. According to the seller, it is running strong This is the seller's pic, but is not of bad quality (unlike many).Hamilton Titan IIISomeone stop meI think I may have an addiction:DDan
I have been meaning to ask this and seeing the other topic on leather straps reminded me. Is there anything you should proactively do to care for the leather straps? Mink oil or something? They appear to be "prepped" out of the box, but I am curious. And the real question. Say you wore a nice leather strap on a really hot day and actually perspired through the strap. I, uh, have a friend that did this. After drying, the marks are subtle - my, uh, his strap is a light tan, but they still are visible. Any way to clean and protect the strap? Thanks.B
Just received a mint 3572.50 from George (Kringkily) and I couldn't be more pleased. Attached are George's photos (my cell pix look terrible). Can't wait to get it sized and in the rotation. Thanks George!
Newbie so apologies if this is wrong section. My problem is that the slider screw in the bracelet came adrift .I have managed to locate a new one but when I fitted it the slider still came off.Does anybody know what I am doing wrong or can you point me in the right direction.Regards
