Invicta 20511 wrist watches news:
I have found the Omega i've been waiting for. A guy has a Seamaster for sale, it looks real and he say's its real. I told him to meet me at a dealer and if they say its real.....i'll buy it. My problem is, will the dealer check it? I mean REALLY check it. He is asking a very low amount just under a grand. What should i do?
Hi I have a Swiss Air Force Chronograph with an ETA 251.272 22 jewel quartz movement and the small second hand, and minute/hour hands have stopped working but the chronograph timer still works (large second hand and 1/10 second hand). My question is do I need to replace the circuit board for $20 (on ebay) or replace the entire movement for $70-90 from a supply house. What's you best guess on this?
Ummmmm is this even a factory AP model? Looks like a T3 but I didn't know they made them in gold or with diamonds for that matter. Massive watch for a 145 pound guy to be wearing.
So Last Saturday my AP ROO RC arrived. I got a wild hair from reading this forum that I really wanted an AP, after more research I decided on the RC as it really fit my style was 42mm and in the lower price bracket for AP. I have NEVER seen an AP in real life so I had a number of questions and I wanted to trade a Rolex that no longer sees much wrist time so I needed some guidance. I started the journey by contacting a few sellers here on the forum, all where helpful but based on the offerings we could not make a deal. Jacob (Deep-House) was referred to me by a friend and was the most helpful. Jacob did not have a RC in my price range but felt he could find an appropriate piece, about 3 weeks later he sent me a text on a RC he just took in and we made a deal. I shipped my Rolex and made a wire transfer, this was my first transaction of this type and because I could find no reviews on Jacob here I would not have done it if a trusted friend of mine had not made a transaction with Jacob i
I met my friend and her family for brunch today. Her dad is a huge Patek collector (gets invited to those dinners T Stern holds every year in Asia), and he was wearing his 5131j. I've never seen one in real life before that.I never quite understood the hype surrounding the 5131 before this, but now that I've seen it, I've decided that some form of leather strapped 5131 (don't mind gold or plat) will be my next watch. The question is, with the 5131r being discontinued as of this March, what's the best way to get one? Wait for the successor of 5131 once the 5131p is discontinued, or hunt the resell? I don't mind waiting a couple of years.
