All the functions are skillfully arranged on an 18-carat pink-gold dial with an alternating lacquered finish. It also features an opaline anthracite and snailed surface coating. Partially open-worked, the dial of the new Bulgari Grande Sonnerie Perpetual Calendar watch boasts elegant Roman numerals. Among other keynotes of the display are semi-transparent sapphire discs indicating the days and months.

New Watch From a New Watch Company
This just arrived in the mail today. It is a Hager Commando watch here is the company's description: "The Hager Commando watch is our reinterpretation of an iconic military watch based on the specifications of the British Ministry of Defense and issued to British Royal Marine Commando Special Boat Squadron (SBS) in the 1970s."It is 40mm, AR Sapphire crystal, Seagull movement, NO cyclops and nice blue lume. The watch normally comes with a NATO band but since I am not that hot on NATO bands I have a black leather band. The Hager Watch Co. is a new company from Hagerstown Maryland (USA). The seconds hand sweeps very smoothly (if you go to their website they have a Youtube video of the watch). They do a lot of Quality Control on the movement and case (for water resistance). The cost was only $260.Sad to say for my other watches, this puppy is going to stay on my wrist for quite some time. New Baume & Mercier Linea ¡­ DEAD BATTERY
So ¡­. last November (2014), on Black Friday, Joma had this great deal going on a new Linea (model 10010). "Perfect for my wife's upcoming 60th birthday," I said ¡­ so I ordered. Now ¡­ fast-forward to today, November 4th, 2015, we celebrated my wife's birthday this evening, during which she unboxed her new watch from its original packaging and wrapping; however, upon attempting to set the time, we found the watch to be dead dead dead. Apparently, the battery has died. No telling how long the watch was sitting in storage prior to me receiving it last November. Hopefully, it's only the battery and nothing more significant.Question ¡­ is this something I should send back to Joma to address, since it is under their warranty, or is this something simple enough that a local (quality) watch repair service can handle with no problem?Thanks.OkeefenokeeJoe

Geez,I never had a problem with any other watch replacing bracelets,but then,there is this f*** PO giving me hell!!I don't want to spend hundreds of dollar for a tool I might use it twice,could anybody recommend a spring bar tool for a 45.5 PO?

A simple start for me!
My last pickup was a 44 ROO so fair to say this is the other end of the size spectrum.Feels refined and delicate but delicate in a good way, the level of finishing is great and could spend all day admiring it.
