Thin-O-Matic Tuesday today. have a great day everybody.
Do you know about the upcoming Hexa K500? It is a dive watch assembled in America and looks good, I think. They are still available on pre-order for a discounted price. I have a brushed stainless steel one on pre-order. Here is a link. Cheers, Bill P.HEXA WATCHES | INTRODUCING THE K500 DIVER
Hi all,I have just signed up in this forum after reading it for sometime now. I have always enjoyed reading this forum and i think its time i signed up and say hi. To start, I would like to share some pics of my new hamilton that i have just purchased. It was certainly not cheap but i liked it the minute it arrived. Hope you all like it too..Hamilton Jazzmaster Rattrapante LEMovement ETA 7770 automaticChronograph with 30 min/12 hr countersSplit Seconds29 Jewels 28800 vph48 hrs power reserve44mm case width100m WRDSCN3359.jpgDSCN3361.jpgDSCN3364.jpgDSCN3377.jpgDSCN3373.jpg
My search for Hamilton's has made me decide to visit a watch fair here in The Netherlands. There were a lot of (especially!) French and German dealers. (As a big Elvisfan I saw the same watch that Elvis wore in 1956. I knew it was a Lord Elgin but I could never figure out what model. Today I learned it was a "Direct Read" and known as The Tank. "Our German Friend" had an asking price of a whopping 850 euro's.Much to my surprise I could hardly find any Hamiltons. Only a handfull and none of them Electric. Dealers told me that they are hard to find! I guess this is because it is of American origin, and not many made it to Europe. However I did find a Pacer. The guy who is selling it says that the movement was damaged beyond repair. This is the reason why he has replaced it with a quartz movement. (It is his own watch, which he has worn for about two years).Personally speaking the reason why I like Hamilton so much is because of the beautiful designs of Richard Arbib. So it does not matter
Just to get away from 'things'?This one is so easy to photograph.Happy Easter.
