Invicta 1796 wrist watches news:
What you are seeing here is the most complicated IWC watch ever created. It is called the Portuguese Sid¨¦rale Scafusia (ref. 5041) and it will be available only via custom order. IWC recently launched it at a powerful celestial observatory in Chile, and it represents a new high-mark for the brand. While the watch itself is very interesting, the lesson it can teach us about how high-end watch brands operate is even more interesting.According to IWC a team of watch makers spent about 10 years researching and developing the Portuguese Sid¨¦rale Scafusia mechanism. While at least one other IWC watch offers more complications, the Portuguese Sid¨¦rale Scafusia is a much more complicated watch. Strictly for the die-hard collector, this timepiece according to IWC CEO Georges Kern is a "dreamlike" machine. It holds within it the values a serious watch brand wishes to convey as well as those aspirational qualities that a super high-end watch should have. It is meant to be an item of wonder, somet
I know there have been threads on this before, but until this last week I have never had anyone really notice my watch before, now 2 new watches in one week and both were noticed many times.Normally it wouldn't make much difference to me but these were WIS people who noticed both the Lume-Tec and my new Hydroconquest chrono. The Longines was noticed today by my Tag co-worker who has an 4 Tags and was wearing his Carrera, he even wanted to try on my Longines and said he was going to buy one...good luck I told him. Then tonight at my sons coin club meeting the president wearing his Panerai noticed my watch and wanted to inspect it, he also owns and wear two Daytonas.Anyways just wanted to share, kind made me feel "special", hopefully not in the short bus sort of way, but because its the first time I have had watch knowledgable people notice a watch I was wearing.
Here it is and I am glad...Happy HolidaysBodiz
I have narrowed down my choices and I have seen that obviously the Hublot and Cartier were not really even considered. I want to upload photos of the two watches I already have and the choices again and I am so sorry if this is considered spamming the forum but as a woman it's sometimes good to get the guys opinion. Attached are the watches I currently have.
Hey guys - for anyone that's gifted a watch (like a DJII ) what did you do to try and get the size right before you gave that person the watch? Also, pretend that you can't measure their wrist as they're not physically near you. It is for a person I know very well (fiance) but she is out of town at the moment and that would be quite obvious anyway. Her Apple Watch, which I have here, doesn't show the markings of where she wears it. Just curious to see if anyone has any tips/tricks other than what the obvious and other than touch luck. Gifting it to her when she comes back this weekend. Thanks
