Invicta 12415 wrist watches news:
For Only Watch 2009, Piaget presents a unique example of their Emperador Coussin Large Moon. This model, introduced this year, houses Caliber 860P, a self-winding movement designed, developed and produced by Piaget. Within the 46.5mm 18k pink gold (5N) case, the oversize 12mm diameter moon phase display immediately attracts your eye, and if you look closely at this Only Watch, you’ll see what makes it unique…This piece incorporates a delightfully understated tribute: the moon’s surface bears a recreation of Neil Armstrong’s famous footprint, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of man’s first steps on the moon. The case back is also specially engraved “Only Watch 2009”.Only Watch is held every two years during the Monaco Yacht Show. The auction will be conducted by Patrizzi & Co. on September 24. The auction enjoys the high patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, and all proceeds of the sale go to support research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
image.jpgAn old friend of mine passed away and he left me his well used Connstellation. I was trying to learn a bit more about it. He told me he bought it when he was in the service in the late Vietnam era, I think that is correct for this model. I wanted to look up the serial number but the number on the movement is unlike others I've seen. Is this a replacement movement or something of that sort? Also the band is missing one of the links closest to the case, I have no idea how that came to be but if I want to wear it I'd need at least two links and it sure would look better if it wasn't missing that link. Am I right in assuming I should just be on the lookout for a complete bracelet assuming I ever decided to wear it?
I know nothing about Omega but I always wanted to own a panda dial watch and now I have a chance to buy this limited edition watch from Japan only? no box and no paper 90% new at $1550, is it worth?Borrow Pic
Fellas (and ladies), Thank You so much for all the information and advice/tips re everything Rolex.....I have been on the Omega Discussion Board of this site (and another!) at the same time and have finally decided to go OMEGA - Planet Ocean to be exact...(just whch one????????) No criticism of the Rolex brand just a personal asthetic choice IMHO. Take Care All, Enjoy your Rolex. B GOOD. 1Baloo
Hey guys,*Long story alert*Anyways I just wanted to share with you my experience with my 114270 explorer. I have been wearing the watch for 4 months now. I have tried Aqua terra 38.5mm, 41mm, I have Seiko SARB, SKX, vintage Omega 600 and the explorer is the most comfortable watch I have ever put on my wrist by far! Especially now in the winter when I dress with long sleeves, I actually feel that I forgot to wear a watch and check on my cuff to make sure I have the watch on. I find myself reaching for the Explorer even when my other watches should deliver it better. Sometimes I think about selling all of my other watches because I don't use them. I have heard people say that this watch is so versatile you can wear it with suit or you can take it exploring mountains skiing. The truth is, its true, I take the watch to my sports activities (I am very active young man). I also find myself wearing the watch when dressing formally and leaving my very dressy gold vintage Omega inside the watch
