Ulysse Nardin 326-22/32 wrist watches news:
Hopefully, this set of artistic renderings of the Omega Speedmaster Co-Axial Chronograph Dark Side of the Moon (reviewed here) marks a return to our beloved "Watch What-If" series, where we explore what popular watch models might look like as seen through different eyes. Swedish artist and graphic designer Niklas Bergenstjerna has some fun with everyone's favorite ceramic Speedmaster, the Dark Side of the Moon, for the watches-dealer audience.Niklas Bergenstjerna comments that he liked to explore the intersection of watches as tools and art. He feels that strong, timeless designs make for fertile grounds to experiment on when it comes to design. For him, the mixture of materials and aesthetic design in the ceramic Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon made it an ideal piece to experiment with.At the top is the "Dark Side of the Moon Asia." In?Bergenstjerna's words, "the aim was to capture the spirit of 'Mystic Asia' in a modern and fashionable way. Here high-tech materials meet tradi
2013 is Jaeger-LeCoultre's 180th anniversary, and to celebrate they have presented a "Jubilee" collection.? The most impressive of this trio of watches is the Gyrotourbillon Three, which we showed you in great detail in episode three of the Road To Basel.? In fact, it might set the new standard for complete elegance.? Actually, the Master Ultra-Thin Jubilee does literally set a new standard for something - it is the thinnest mechanical watch on earth, with case thickness of just 4.05mm. ?Read on for more about this incredible watch. 2 OF 27 The MUT Jubilee continues with a theme set forth by such awesome watches as the MUT Moonphase, and this year's truly superb MUT Perpetual Calenda
I am looking for a white faced Seamaster and I can't find one. I have three Omegas already and would buy a fourth if I could find a decent white faced Seamaster. Rolex has the Explorer II which I'm contemplating if I can't find what I am looking for in Omega. I don't really want to go the Rolex route and Tag is out of the question.
It appears us manual fans are a dying breed of watch collector, most people seem to have an affinity for automatics, but for me its always been about the manuals, wondering if any one out there feels the same joy I do in winding a watch?Best regards -jdp87
