Invicta 10416 wrist watches news:
I cannot adequately express in words how much I love Summer. This weekend was like a vacation getaway. Friday night we took in the new Batman flick (OK in my book, but not quite up to the critical acclaim it seems to be receiving). Then, I got up about 6am on Saturday and enjoyed a great sunrise breakfast out on the deck. Then I got my son up, we got ready, and then headed to the golf course so we could get a round in before it got too hot. As you can see, we got on the tee box on #1 right about 8am:The first drive of the round landed on the short stuff - a good omen:My son's game is REALLY coming on strong for a 12 year old. He got two pars this weekend, and his first 200 yard drive! Here he is in the club house sporting his T-Touch - his favorite watch at the moment:Double wrist shot:After the round on Saturday we headed to the pool, and had a relaxing afternoon, followed by Saturday evening church services.Sunday morning we were back on the course:That round was the best of the
Another thread made me stop to think about what you would change on existing watches in your collection to improve them - aesthetically and/or functionality wise. For example, I love this vintage Breitling:...but I can't stop thinking of how cool it would look with a big date at 12. Give it a raised gold border to match the indices, make the wheel backround black, and the numbers white. Then add an applied winged logo in gold underneath the big date but just above the black "Breitling" text, remove the scripted "B" and it would be nearly the perfect chronograph. Here's another one:If the date window was even moved towards center a little (like the late 50's Conquest Calendar) so an indice would be at 3 it would really improve the overall appearance. So fire away - besides a simple clean-up, what would you change to upgrade any of the existing watches in your collection?
Should I trade my Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 for the new Rolex Daytona? I don't seem to wear my Patek much but I am afraid I may miss it. I am just wondering which piece is more sought after ?
I have decided on a 5146J but I am unsure whether to go for cream or slate. Any opinions to sway me?Thanks,rk748
A few months ago a friend of mine asked me to sell his 16710 coke. I took the watch and listed it for sale. Shortly after he sold it himself and took it back. While it was in my possession I really started to dig the watch. Low and behold his sale fell through and he just decided to keep it. Since then I¡¯ve been whispering in his ear to let it go. After a few months of convincing him he finally decided to let me have it. This baby is a really awesome full set. Even has a RSC service card from a recent service. I also bought a like-new jubilee bracelet! So here she is!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
